During the time when Chicago was heading by King before normalcy returned this was the city which was a safe haven for any human B.O.W. Since then Chicago has once again returned under the government and most of the human B.O.W.s have remained here in their own communities.

Many times this place has been the epicenter of the infection, after the country was finally given back some form of normalcy the city was rebuilt by the government with the help of Gentex.
