With a weary sigh, Tony passed a hand across his face as he used his other hand to click the power button on the remote, shutting off the tv. Things had seemed to be going quite well until Umbrella decided to resurface. Very quickly they had initiated a massive bioterrorism attack on New York City and then shortly after had murdered the head of the Hellsing Organization to publicly call out one of Hellsings finest. He shook his head with a disgusted sigh. This reeked of a personal vendetta which was a terrible way to run a business, especially by angering such an array of foes against them. If history was any indicator, Umbrella would inflict an obscene amount of damage then be taken apart. As long as they kept their business away from his territory, he had no plans to personally mix it up with them on top of everything else. That wasn't to say that he wouldn't still oppose them however, he'd just do it a little more indirectly. He flicked a glance to the clock on the wall, his black eyes were bright and alert despite the startlingly late hour. Approaching midnight, he sat at his desk in one of his many offices around the city, guards flanking him in the room with more in and around the building. He signed another paper before setting it aside, picking up an operational report to review. His Organization had grown larger and more influential under his guidance than any of his forebears had achieved before him. His glanced flicked around the page, taking in the pertinent information before setting the report aside and setting into a fresh sheet, writing in a firm and flowing script. It would seem that things were still going well, though their attempts at establishing new territory in New York had been hampered by the attack. He set aside the documents that would authorize his legal team to make acquisitions on his behalf in Manhattan, not seeing the point to signing away money for nothing in return. He glanced to one of his men to the side, "Go ahead and have the chefs send my meal up here if you please. It appears I've still a fair amount of work before me." he said before adding, "And have someone sent in to replace you two so you can eat as well. No sense in you going hungry while I eat."
His man nodded and left quickly to deliver the orders to another guard outside the door, stepping back in after a few brief moments which brought an amused smile to his face. He was just a regular old human in a world of pseudo humans and monsters and his men made sure that he was well guarded. He had been one of them, years ago. He'd worked his way up from the streets and into command, rallying them all behind him when his predecessor had taken the notion into his head of trying to go to war against the BoW Organization KING. Many of that organizations former members now worked for him, so he had additional assets in this new reality as well that the previous heads hadn't had. Combine those with his recent hires from the mercenary army of Big Boss and he felt reasonably well secured, given the level of capabilities his people now possessed. Add in the fact that his influence expanded into the Government and he knew no one would be ousting him or his organization anytime soon. Of course, that didn't mean that there would never be challenges to his authority, or attacks against his people. They were still relatively new enough that no one yet knew to fear them. When his reprisals came against those that would harm his people, they would be swift and severe, examples needed to be set and then their reputation would be enough of a deterrent. Most the time. He set about eating his late dinner as he opened the newspaper sent in with it, keeping himself abreast of events happening. He had people that reported such things, of course, but he liked to keep himself as informed as possible.
