Adam was in a remodeled loft he had found in the penthouse. It was about time for him to branch out to his own space, after all with the addition of Molly it was getting really fucking crowded in Amy's old loft. On-top of that if KING really was operating again and someone was going to reach out to him he needed a secure place to interact with them. His pace was much more spartan as far as spaces were concerned. There wasn't any paint or plaster on the replaced dry wall, a bed was in the living room area, the kitchen had nothing but a mini-fridge. The biggest would be found down the hall, where the bathroom and spare room were located. The spare room was converted into an armory and work space. It's where Adam spent most of his night and day, researching, planning, the like. Of course he never bothered to get an oven or stove or anything to really cook food.
Instead he usually ate with the group whenever someone knocked on his door, or whenever he didn't lose track of time. Today however he as out walking around in the building, he needed fresh air to think. He'd hit a dead end ever since returning from the mission to get Molly back to safety. He wasn't really interacting with anyone or anything for the moment, he seemed lost in his thoughts. They had gotten no where with Umbrella, sure, the actual man behind the monsters had finally shown himself but for every inch they managed Hija took miles. Another person killed each time head way was being made, a new epidemic released in an area... Come to think about it, how the hell did Umbrella still have the funding for developing Bio-Organic Weaponry again? Questions for a different time. His eyes squinted as he made his way to the bottom floor and the light of day flooded in.
It as annoying how for a dead company they were hitting them harder than their rag tag group could hope to. Annoying and a pain... It took years to find a viable cure with the T-virus and it's variants that the government was willing to use. Granted starlight was on the market in the west but there was no real way to get it over to the east coast. So what about this virus, it was clear this wasn't the T-virus... different things going on with it. He'd been researching the differences between this new virus and the T-virus. The biggest thing he noticed was the lack of necrosis in victims that you'd typically see in T-zombies. Maybe this was the reason they were so agile and maneuverable. To think on it further made his mind reel, debating whether the victims were still alive but trapped in their own minds or something.
He finally looked around to take in his surroundings as he took a deep breath when he stepped outside.
