The Father, The Son, The Ghost

"Do you understand your orders," asked the man behind the bullet proof window, she was staring back at him fiddling with the brim of her shirt, she didn't bother answering him he wasn't talking to her he was talking to XAG01, the AI that had implanted in her head. It was always the same story, she had no idea what the hell was going on but he gave her orders and the AI began working on a plan putting things into action for her. At the end of the day she was just another piece of the puzzle.

"I have a question," she finally said, the look on the mans face was taken back, he looked surprised that she spoke to him at all.

"I... What?"

"Who was that man we faced a while back," she asked.

He remained silent then looked over into the corner of the room where she couldn't see then looked back at her, "you were put under for a while in order to avoid such questions, why are you asking this?"

"Because you made me go through another reeducation program thinking I'd simply forget him and his mask," she replied.

"Are you mad about that?"

"I'm only mad you gave the order for us to pull out," she said finally, "I took one hit and you gave the retreat order."

"It was a waste of time to continue that battle, this front is different, you'll be working on the direct orders of Hija Himura."

"Then why does she only know the mission, don't you think it be best I also know?"

There was silence in the room between the two of them, finally the man on the other side of the glass stepped away and another man stepped forward, this man was Hija Himura.

"You will be hunting down my adopted son and assassinating him," Hija said, "he is a danger to your survival and the continuation of our salvation mission."

"Okay," she finally said.

"Okay," Hija asked.

"That is all I wanted, to be in the loop instead of being treated like a third party in my own body," she said.

Hija smiled, "alright, lets get started."

Infiltrating a safe zone was never the hard work here, most of the time you just find a group of people and moved them toward it, the safe zone has no choice but to take this group of people because sending them away would be morally unjust. In this case Umbrella simply released test subjects who were locked away, but they gave one man the power to escape and free his other brothers. This man unknowingly freed XAG01 as well, they left the facility with 'some' resistance which was mostly them firing back at Umbrella soldiers as they ran for the exit. When they were on the outside of the facility they just happened to run into a 'lone survivor' who told them of GENTEC and helped guide them there through the cold streets.

When they emerged from the alleyway of East most exit several guards yelled for them to stay still and they opened the doors, several more guards went to investigate the group seeing they were barely wearing anything. Many of them were tattooed with several things like their blood type and other personal information. There was a couple of them with track marks where they were injected with several things. The 'leader' of their group spoke up about how they escaped an Umbrella facility and ran for it. Medical teams were rushed out there and a tent was quickly cleared for them to be kept in away from the other survivors. The group was ushered into the gates and that was the perfect time for her to slip away like a ghost.

No once noticed her slide away as they turned a corner and she stepped off to the side at the exact moment the guards at the rear rounded the corner with the rest of the group, they didn't notice her shift to the ground and roll under another tent grabbing clothes from a survivor who wasn't currently present. She moved back out into the open with a hoodie, scarf and sweat pants on, she had the scarf pulled up as well as the hoodie to hide her face as she moved toward one of the guard tents, it was a matter of playing the game and changing roles as quickly as possible to become important enough to gain access to the upper tower. It didn't take her long to make the first kill in the safe zone, a woman wearing an GENTEC officers uniform, she snapped her neck in the tent stripped her uniform putting it on then used her abilities to break the womans arms and legs to make her more compact and shoved her into a footlocker sliding it under a bed.

She stepped out into the cold again pulling the hood of the GENTEC officer jacket up and the brim of her hat down as she headed for the tower front door. Eventually XAG01 made it to the front door of the tower which automatically opened for her and she stepped into the warm lobby pulling her hood down. She walked to the front desk and buzzed herself through the metal detector with the officers card and headed for the elevator, at this rate it would be easy for her to get to Arix. The elevator door opened, the top level seemed so empty as she walked out and crossed the room where a reception desk was, the receptionist was sitting behind the desk filing her nails as she looked up at the woman and buzzed her in.

"Head on in, he's been expecting you miss Grace," the receptionist said.

XAG01 stared at the woman for a second in disbelief. How did he know she was coming? She entered the room pushing through the oak doors and entered a massive room which was mostly empty aside from a desk on the opposite end where a man sat with his back to her looking out the window at the entire safe zone.
