Sinners & Saints is set in a near future city, Saint City. People come to Saint City for an opportunity to become great. Regardless of their professions they're all the same, trying to become a legend in their field. Bounty Hunters, Demon Hunters, even your hot dog vendor on the side of the road. A city of fifty million working its own eco system, founded on the blood of the Seraphim Accord, host to violence, demons, strip clubs and the occasional church, it is here people come to live for a while before they die a legend.
"No one from the old group is easy to get in touch with," Richie said, "Alice knew of us, but she never took the time to come here herself, instead Carlos maintained our overhead and managed things, it was his passion project while the rest of the group was dealing with bigger things than a community. We've been in the thick of it however, a lot of our information was passed up the line to the groups fighting on the ground and we've spent a lot of time housing refugees and helping people escape from one thing or another. We can even make people disappear completely to start a new life."
"What Richie is getting at, is we're still operating at five hundred percent," said the familiar voice from over the phone, the woman approaching the two had short brown hair, bright blue eyes, lightly tanned skin, she stood at about 5'8. She was wearing a button up black shirt which was rolled up to her elbows, and military BDU pants with combat boots. Around her neck was a red scarf and on her hip was a Taurus Judge .410 with an extended barrel. She neared Adam and extended a hand to him, on the inside of her wrist was the same White Rabbit logo that Wonderland used from 2006-2007, it was the OG emblem, "Tara Olivera, pleasure to finally meet you."
He listened to Richie for a bit. It made sense that they were still operating the same way that they used to, but what puzzled him was how Alice never really made contact with them. Perhaps it was Seven that had gotten word and not actually Alice? It would make much more sense in that regard, Seven definitely had her own agenda and she wasn't known to have cooperated that well with the original members of Wonderland. His attention was caught by the female as she walked up and spoke, he extended his hand and shook hers. She definitely looked like Carlos' kid. "Adam Kurgan. Same." He looked around, "I really can't put all this into words. This is insane."
She looked around watching as everyone got back to work, the gym cleared out however as most of the patrol soldiers went back outside where they would protect the grounds and the forest park around them. More or less, they were a lot of the younger group who Adam wouldn't recognize.
"My father made sure to keep this place as pristine as possible in the event that O.G. Alice, Amy, or You ever showed back up. He wanted to have a place where the old logic remained and family was a thing before secrets. Pretty much, dad was sick of Seven and her bullshit so he made sure to come back here and keep stuff running the way it should be. He of course still worked with Seven given that she was still doing good work on keeping people alive and saving them, but she was manipulating them for the 'mission'. When Wesker executed my father I took over, continuing his work."
She glanced to Adam locking eyes on him, "welcome home, Adam Kurgan."
He nodded at Tara's words as he listened, it never dawned on him to just come back here. "Good to be home." Like this would've been a huge help back in the day... He took a deep breath, it was weird he didn't feel isolated anymore he didn't feel alone like the single sole survivor of the core group anymore. The fact was besides LJ and Alice though he pretty much was. "So what now?" He asked, "Like I don't mean to sound like an asshole but you wouldn't go through all that trouble to just bring me here, show me this, and then that's it." He assumed they were contacting him because of something they needed help with. The chances of this being shown to him just for him to sit there and have a place to stay well away from everyone else were highly unlikely.
"That's the thing," she said, "I didn't go through any trouble for this. What I said over the phone is true, I didn't have any plans for this at all, it was all GHOST and her doing. I only learned you were still alive because she called the number and told me she was operating out of your safe house and you were on the way there. That's why I told her to leave the message behind."
Tara motioned for him to follow to the other room where it was more comfortable and less noisy, the room was a sitting room there were others inside but they were also relaxing apparently off duty, "I haven't seen her yet, I'm not entirely sure if she is planning to show up or not. Granted, she did say she would see me soon so I imagine she was waiting for your arrival first to assess the situation. I guess going forward we can look into continuing the original operation of shutting down Umbrella, it would be nice if Alice was here though, her presence alone would rally the troops."
"I see..." He replied finally once they were inside, "And you don't know who this person running around with one of Amy's old Alias' is do you?" He asked curiously now that he was given the news that she might not actually show up. It was slightly annoying and a bit of a let down. "As for Alice... right now she's around, just kind of in a coma." He explained the situation about how she had gone missing for a few days and when she showed back up she was badly injured and then simply ended up falling into a hibernation cycle to potentially heal all of her wounds and shit. "So far it's been me, her, LJ, and an AI Amy modeled after herself sometime before 2018." He went on to further explain most of what had been happening with them and how Jill was now pretty much a part of Wonderland officially instead of just someone off to the side. Over all it wasn't that great of an information dumb as far as good news was concerned. "To be honest though... it would probably be better if you all stayed out of the fight. No need to really risk what's going on here. Taking down Umbrella was the core groups goal."
"Look around you Adam," she said, "we are the core group now. You, LJ, Alice, and Jill are just four people riding the back of Outer Haven. We are and have been on the ground since 06. This operation continues on with or without the founders, it's just nice having you guys on board."
Someone entered the room, "we've got a problem ma'am."
"There's no problem, let her in," Tara said calmly.
"Uh... Yes ma'am."
"Right on time," Tara said to Adam, she was referring to the idea that GHOST was simply waiting to see if Adam would arrive and have him go first. The man ducked out the room, "we'll discuss the risks after."
The man returned, this time he was followed by a woman wearing a black poncho with a day of the dead style skull mask. The woman kept her distance from them for the moment but Tara spoke up, "welcome to Wonderland, I take it you are GHOST?"
"Yes," GHOST finally said, she seemed to be holding a large rifle hidden under the cloak, the barrel could be seen poking out from the left hand side, "your guards didn't like me looking through your files on the upper floor. Quite a collection."
"We pride ourselves with rewriting information so that we have physical copies, especially after the Virus data was wiped out from an EMP burst that fried some of our hard drives."
"You don't know me that well so I'll let that slide." He replied to her comment about him riding the back of outer haven. They unfortunately had moved in and at this point Adam was just too stubborn to leave provided he had already set up his own base there. But given that his old safe houses were no longer being monitored and the fact that this place existed, he was beginning to rethink his options. He looked to the soldier and waited listening to them talk before the woman who was going by Amy's old alias had walked in. He didn't say anything at first, instead he simply sat there with his arms crossed and observed. That was an odd get up, but it was when she talked he heard it, his eyes went wide for a moment and then he just froze. It sounded exactly like the Grace AI but less artificial, as if it was really Amy who was talking. He waited, he didn't say a word.
He'd let the pair of them talk, try and get as many context clues as he could before he jumped to conclusions but he was definitely going with the assumption of some sort of clone. The other idea was just potentially too much to even bother thinking about at the moment.
"I see," GHOST replied, she moved her weapon under her poncho pulling it into view with one hand only holding the grip, she sat it down on the stock and leaned it against a table, "at any rate, I'm here."
"You are," Tara said, "tell me, what do you know of Wonderland?"
"I used to work for you apparently," she said casually now looking at one of the bookshelves scanning the titles until she found the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and pulled it off the shelf, "and at some point Umbrella did something to me then I worked for them. And now I work for someone else."
"And who are you, aside from GHOST," Tara asked.
GHOST flipped through the pages and read out loud, "I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then."
Several things were running through his mind at the moment but right now he kind of wanted to leave. At the same time though he wanted to stay, he wanted to know who this person was and why they decided they needed all the information on Amy that they took. He stayed quiet again and just looked over, under the mask where the eyes were visible he could see something odd, one red, one blue, monochromatic? Amy wasn't ever monochromatic which meant this had to either, once again and impostor... or an imperfect clone who didn't have the memories that Amy had. "Why are you stealing a dead woman's information?" He blurted that out, though honestly he didn't realize he did until he noticed that he had caught their attention.
She flipped the pages calmly after Adam spoke out, Tara remained quiet and then GHOST looked up at him after glancing at the page and said, "I'm afraid I can't explain myself, sir. Because I am not myself, you see?"
GHOST closed the book setting it on the table next to her rifle, she grabbed at her hood pulling it down, her brown hair was messy and tied back in a pony tail. After a second she simply decided to remove the poncho completely and tossed it on the table on top of the book. She then reached up grabbing the band that held the mask in place and pulled it off setting it on top of the poncho. She turned to face Adam and Tara, her face slightly scarred across the bridge of her nose, she had a scar that lined both of her lips on the left side, and her left temple there was a light scar, none of them stood out but they were noticeable in the right light at the right angle.
"I'm not stealing a dead woman's information," she said, "I'm learning about who I was."
Adam was up on his feet a look of shock washed over his face. Her name escaped his lips in a mumble but he quickly caught himself shaking his head. "No." He refused, she sounded like her, she looked like her but he absolutely refused to believe it was her. "No." He said again, honestly it was the only word he could really even say at the moment as he shook his head. He took a deep breath for a moment and stifled back a crack in his voice. "You're not her. A clone. You can't be her." He needed to get the hell out of here, feelings and emotions he didn't quiet know what or how to deal with were bubbling to the surface and the best course of action was to just walk away.
Which he did, he left the room and walked out down a hall he remembered which lead to a balcony/metal stair well. He took a deep breath the moment he stepped outside and with shaking hands he lit up a cigarette and took a deep inhale. Alice didn't lie, they buried an empty coffin. Did she fake her death? Did she actually die and then Umbrella just took her remains and reprogrammed her? He shook his head, trying to get rid of those thoughts. This wasn't Amy, it couldn't be Amy.
"What's his deal," GHOST asked and Tara didn't say anything again, it was Richie who had entered the room after Adam stormed out who spoke next.
"The two of you were closer to one another than anyone else," he said, he almost couldn't believe his eyes as well, the last time he had seen Amy in person she was a teenager with blond hair who was still learning how to read coding, "In the end, the news reported you dead and everyone here and elsewhere lost hope... You were the woman who would risk everything to save any one person, the Queen of the Wasteland."
"Shocking, isn't it," said a woman sitting in a wheel chair on the balcony, she was also smoking a cigarette, he probably glossed over her being there since she was out of the way and technically lower to the ground given the wheel chair, "I almost couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted her moving on the grounds a little while ago. When I learned that the ghost call sign was being used and a woman would be coming here who used it, I had to get front row seats to see her come back to life."
He didn't say anything at first, he just took puffs from his cigarette his hands were still shaking but he managed to get a hold of himself and just shook his head. "Imagine how I felt." He replied to her as he took another drag, he wasn't going to sit there and hound this old woman about how that was a clone and it wasn't the real Amy that he had known and grown up with. That would just be cruel. Let them get that hope rekindled let them breath a little lighter given what was going on in the world now a days. What had happened? Was this Umbrella's doing? Seemed likely given that they couldn't leave things well enough alone. He still didn't believe it was her, it had to of been a clone or something, no way in hell could she have sat there and not recognized him.
Then again... according to the reports she fell from a high building and he himself had seen the building with his own eyes. If the fall killed her then that meant she had hit her head, which meant she probably lost everything, and if Umbrella did bring her back they wouldn't do her any favors and probably continued to wipe the rest of her memories so they could just turn her into their personal killing machine. He finished off his cigarette, and turned back to the door. "You take care, try not to be out here all night it's supposed to get cold." He finally said and stepped back inside and made his way back to the room they were in.
"Oh, I'll be fine dear, go easy on her, she's been through a lot, I'm sure," said the woman, when Adam headed back in she put out her cigarette and turned her wheel chair around by the controls and headed in a well. There was no easy way down so she had to go around to the access ramp, but she would eventually find her way to them as well.
Back in the room there was a long winded discussion between Richie and Tara while GHOST simply stood there looking up at the ceiling tapping her foot lightly to a song stuck in her head. Richie and Tara were of course discussing how Amy Grace could be alive and standing in the room, outside there were several people who had stopped what they were doing to get a look at her, the rumor would be heading around the place soon enough.
"Can we stop talking about me like I'm not here," she finally interrupted them, "no hard feelings, I really wish I could remember even a third of the stuff you're talking about but I just can't. I know your face, but can't remember your name and I recognize your last name but I don't think I've ever actually met you because you're not giving me a headache when I look at you."
"You get headaches when you remember things," Richie asked.
"No, I get headaches when I want to remember things but can't," she pointed at Adam, "like him, he causes me a migraine every time I try to piece it together. I've lost sleep trying to remember more about him than just his face. Also, I should apologize to you now for nearly killing you and that blond girl with a building. That's my bad, I was simply following the AI directive and Himura's orders."
He froze stiff for the moment he walked into the room and he was called out by Amy. He clenched his fist, this was definitely Amy. Her mannerisms and the way she spoke gave it away. God damn Hija and his sick twisted shit. He took a deep breath, unclipping the iDroid and messaging Jolie; 'You were right. She is still alive. It'll be easier from here on out to contact me on my number.' The message also included his phone number and after that he tossed Amy her iDroid. "That's yours." He replied before moving over to the other side of the table and pulling off the leg holster that held the Tyrant killer weapon that was made specifically for her. "This is also yours." He set the gun and holster down next to her things. He moved over to what he correctly assumed was a liquor cabinet and grabbed a bottle and a few glasses, four in total but that was mostly to disguise the fact that he was going to be drinking for now. He pour the glasses and slammed his back only to pour another one.
"Easy on the drink hun," said the old woman who rolled into the room. Amy was looking over the iDroid when her attention was drawn to the blond haired woman who entered the room in a wheel chair.
"Doctor Marcus, pleasure to see you haven't thrown yourself off the balcony yet," Tara said, her tone was dry as all hell.
"I couldn't if I wanted to, legs don't work," Dr. Marcus replied, Richie looked at Tara who looked back at him like 'please don't leave' and he smiled at her then left the room, Tara sighed heavily and Dr. Marcus spoke again, "don't worry, I'm not here to argue about getting Molly Grace back from the Diamond Dogs, we're beyond that now. I just came to see for myself if this is actually her or not."
"Amy, Adam, this is Doctor Alyson Marcus, she was the head of the Grace Project and a pain in my ass," Tara informed and walked over to Adam grabbing a glass that he had laid out and reached down into the cabinet pulling out a much more expensive bottle of scotch setting it on the counter and poured herself a drink and then one for Doctor Marcus, she looked at Adam and put a hand on his shoulder briefly and then grabbed both glasses heading back to the doctor where she handed one glass to her.
Amy was silently staring at the blond haired woman who was staring back at her, each of them waiting for the other person to speak first then Amy finally said something when Doctor Marcus looked away to grab her drink, "why did you do it?"
"Do what dear?"
Dr. Marcus looked back at her, "I can't have children, I donated my eggs to my research so that my children and legacy could live on. Unfortunately, my research was Umbrella's research... I saw what they did to my first daughter and son and I wouldn't allow that to happen to you or any of my other children. I set up your escape, just like I set up Molly's escape. However my dear, I'm not going to sit here and discuss that openly, if you want to speak with me on those matters you and I can talk privately. I just want to know what happened to you."
"I can't answer that, but... Someone else can," Amy took out her phone and put it on speaker, she sat the phone down, "XAG, you've been listening please explain."
"Of course," said a synthetic voice over the phone, "I am the AI XAG01, an artificial life that keeps her stabilized and breathing and keeps her from going into a vegetative state given her head trauma. Right now our benefactors are working on other methods to heal her properly and make it so we can live out separate lives but for the time being, we're stuck together. On to the answer of your question... Umbrella used the Type 3 to not only resurrect Amy but also enhance her abilities. She was deemed a failure at the table but Hija Himura thought it would be interesting to see how Alice would handle facing down her own adopted daughter."
"Ironic that," Dr. Marcus said taking a drink of her scotch, "the daughter thing, sorry continue I didn't mean to derail."
"Anyways... Himura brought Amy back to life, saw the brain damage she had and began reprogramming her just like the other Grace series dolls but Amy was different. The bond with the Type 2 and Type 3 strands and what Ocelot did to her fortified her mind against this reprogramming and she began to remember things. She spent a month in isolation after hunting down AG03 and losing the target."
"Corvo's doing," Tara said.
"You know him," Amy asked.
"He runs our operations," Tara replied.
"Okay," Dr. Marcus interrupted, "who employs you now?"
"GENTEC," Amy replied.
"Hah, the first son then? That's rich," Marcus said taking another drink, "okay, Amy, come see me when you want to talk. I'll inform you of everything I know off the top of my head. I just needed to see this for myself."
Doctor Marcus handed her empty glass over to Tara and thanked her and Tara said, 'no problem' in return, her tone had changed completely. From there Marcus rolled out of the room, Tara followed after her and closed the doors behind her then turned back to them, Amy was standing there in silence, she turned off her phone and put it back in her pocket then let out a loud sigh, "it's going to be a long night."
Adam for one just kind of poured himself another drink while looking at the old lady. "It takes a lot to actually do anything to me." He replied offhandedly and just listened to the interactions going on in the room, slamming back another full glass quickly. It took all of his self control to not crush the glass in his hand when he had heard about Hija just simply bringing back Amy. So it was true... That twisted fuck. Instead he set the glass down hard on the table and filled himself another glass. Everyone was talking a lot and Adam was relatively quiet. Once the others left the room he just starred at the bottle on table with his elbows resting on his knees and hands over his mouth. He didn't say anything until she spoke up and the only word he said was 'yup' before grabbing the glass and slamming it back.
"Can you guys give us some space, we're going to shut down the room to only senior members," Tara said finally to the other people in the room, "I'm sorry, I know this is a chill space but you guys see what we're dealing with here, I'd like to have some personal space, I'll make it up to you guys."
"It's no problem Tara," said one of the Wonderland people, the half dozen people in the room picked up their books and their things and headed out, the last one closed the door behind them but it opened again a minute later and Richie returned this time with another man at his side and closed the door behind him. The bearded Italian man and Tara spoke to one another quietly for the moment.
Amy's iDroid dinged and she read out loud to Adam mostly, "'Holy shit, I fucking knew there was no way a normie could take me. I love your work Queen, tell Adam I got the message I'll text him soon so he has my number...' She's cute, don't tell her I've been hacked into her system for a week, that'll probably crush her spirit."
"I guess." He replied after a brief moment, "If you ever need help in a pinch she comes through pretty well." He poured himself another drink and also poured her one as well and slid it across the table towards her. He didn't know what to say or do, she obviously couldn't give him an answer about anything so there was no real point in asking questions. "Don't wrack your brain too hard." He finally spoke up, "The earlier thing, that you get a migraine when you try to remember me." He slammed his drink back again but this time he capped the bottle. "With any luck when all this is over I'll be dead and I won't have to be a part of this nightmare anymore." Why did he just say that? It was true in all regards but why did he admit that to another person? Much less Amy?
She stopped the drink, she didn't plan on drinking it but it was the thought that counted, then came his comment. It was that comment that made her tear up as she glanced over at him and shook her head, "don't say things like that. Your life is worth more than you know. Even if you don't see it, the people around you want to see you tomorrow. They want to experience life with you... What you have is precious, and I think it meant a lot to me once."
Amy swallowed her last words and shook her head, he was right on the migraine thing, it was definitely kicking in as she looked away from him, there were tears in her eyes but they didn't trail down her cheeks, she sniffed lightly and then picked up the drink and knocked it back and sat the glass down, "life would be easier if we could all live it the way we wanted to."
That hurt... in fact it made him reach back for the bottle and pour himself another drink, there were tears welling his eyes and making his vision blurry but he blinked them away and clearing his throat. God he didn't know what hurt more, the news that she had died or the fact that she was right there right now and for her it was like she was meeting a stranger. "Once." He rubbed his face. "But I fucked it up... We got into a fight, it was the last time I ever saw you." He said after a moment, 'I came out here because of your death. Because I was going to tear them down brick by brick. But now I don't seem to have a reason anymore so what do I do now?' He didn't say those words but he looked at her for a moment before having to turn away, it hurt, like it hurt worse than the first time he saw the Grace AI. Eventually he move the glass to her side of the table and just grabbed the bottle before taking a huge chug out of it.
"I'm sorry," she said, "I know for a fact that even though I was mad your standing probably didn't change with me... I remember Alice and I still respect her even though I can't remember it all and the last thing I can recall is me putting a bullet in the back of her head. Well, not her but you know... That woman has a lot of different personalities."
"Grazie amico mio," Tara said loudly and she and the man hugged and he left the room with Richie, she moved to where Adam and Amy were, "hope I'm not interrupting that man is Maestro Adriano Martello, he goes by Maestro and is the head of our security detail. He's informed me that William Birkin has been spotted on the streets and apparently is no longer in Umbrella's hands. An inside informant said there is a large bounty on his head and his position was given to Doktor Hans Volter, a former Nazi scientist who specializes in creating monsters. Much like the latest one that popped up on our radar."
"The Reaper creatures," Amy asked.
"You know of them," Tara seemed almost shocked.
"I've had to take out a couple of them recently," Amy replied, "kind of like the artificials from back in the day but they're much tankier."
"They're becoming a nuisance on the streets currently, I'm having teams dispatched to start patrolling for them," Tara said.
Adam was about to take a drink from the bottle before Tara came back into the room. At the mere mention of Birkin's name Adam stood up having set down the bottle. "Where?" he replied, cold, determined as if the name had snapped something inside of him. "Where was his last location spotted?"
"The sewers actually," Tara replied, "he was spotted by sensors which triggered our cameras, he was seen exiting the sewers several hours ago and we lost him moving through New York City. Given the time frame he could be anywhere by now, I can give you the location of the sewer exit he left from though if you want it. He may return there, we've found a lot of hide outs in those locations that Umbrella and other people used."
Amy picked up the glass Adam had pushed to her and took a drink from it, the expression on her face had changed completely, she was lost in thought tracing her memories for the last time Birkin had come to her cell to mock her. The last time he came close to her she remembered putting a pen half way into his upper thigh just above the knee before the guards pulled her away, it was the AI who told her to do it originally. She definitely hated that man.
He was under prepared for the moment but that didn't really matter, it was one guy and he didn't have back up with time at all. "That'll work, I'll find him myself from there." He had absolutely every intention to fucking murder the ever living shit out of Birkin. No way in hell was he going to take him in like his message to Alice had asked him to. Not after all the bullshit and specifically not after what he did to the woman standing right in front of him who didn't even know who he was. He pulled the slide back on his pistol and checked how many rounds he had. He didn't particularly care about the Reapers, like Amy said they were like the freaks just much tankier version of them.
"Alright," Tara said, "I'll be back in a moment with information for you on the location."
Tara headed out the room, Amy moved away to her things grabbing the pistol Adam had set down and strapped it around her leg then grabbed her rifle and slung it around her shoulder, she didn't bother with the poncho or the mask, she didn't have a reason to hide her face anymore she had decided to become who she was once again after meeting the people in the building with them.
"Adam, Amy," said a voice who opened the doors, it was Richie again, "come with me, to the armory."
Richie lead the way rather quickly given his advanced age, one could tell he had lived here for a very long time. There was a room that was once a set of locker rooms that was now labeled armory, the wall had been knocked down to the other genders locker rooms to expand the room but there was a gate between the two. The lockers had been replaced with weapons lockers but that wasn't the point here, Richie unlocked the gate and held it open for Amy and Adam to get to the real firepower.
"These weapons, they have been in the family since you guys left. They are fair usage as they belong to the OG's," Richie said and then he raised his radio to his mouth after hearing Tara, "we're in the armory."
The first room had the standard weapons, M4's, 9mm pistols, MP5's, the works. There were black vests on that side as well repping the OG Wonderland emblem, Amy was looking at those and grabbed one before her attention was drawn to the other room where there were display cases set out. The first one she looked at was Marc's Steyr Scout Tactical sniper rifle, a relic from the old days. There was Carlos's old M4 and the SMG11 he used to keep on him at all times, Rains PMM pistol and MP5, even Alice's FN F2000 was here. All the weapons they had moved on from or lost during the war was here. Alucards original destroyed 13mm Jackal was sitting in a case still blown apart at the front end, it was labeled as destroyed and locked unlike the other ones. One the wall was the Railgun that the 314 had used... It was all here, it was like a museum of death, Amy's eyes trailed to one case with her name on it, a single .45 pistol was inside the case and she looked at Adam.
"You gave this to me," she said, a look of pain on her face as the memory actually came forward, "it was during the Natas incident, I had lost my gun and you gave me yours. I guess... I left it behind when we all split up."
Adam didn't waste time snatching one of those vests off the wall. 'Hell yeah.' He went about throwing it on and strapping it up as he followed into the room with the old weapons in cases. "Jesus..." He said looking over everything in amazement, almost amused at the memories that some of the weapons brought to his mind. He looked over at the .45 when Amy spoke up. "Yeah... that was not the best night. We lost a lot of good people when that monster attacked." He replied somberly, it was definitely one memory he didn't want to recall. After that night everyone split up and did their own thing and after a while he just ended up on his own having to fend for himself. "We should've never had split up..." He muttered before finally he came to a case with his name on it and what was in that case cause him to laugh a little. "Jesus how did I never break my own arms with that thing." He opened it up revealing a Taurus 500 raging bull with a muzzle break and laser sights on it.
Possibly the craziest thing was how natural it felt in his hands, he was surprised because he remembered it being a lot heavier than it was right now. He quickly found the holster for it though it was worn like crazy and had to be adjusted to fit comfortable against his ribs where it used to be. It made him feel oddly complete to have it there and remember it's weight. He found speed loaders for it in the proper size although there were only two which gave him twelve shots. Finally though, he let out a sigh and dropped his head, it was time to address the elephant in the room. "Listen, I'm not going to lie to you... I don't know how comfortable I am having you along for this."
"If you don't think you can keep up, I understand, I can do this on my own," she said to his comment leaving her sniper rifle against the case with her name on it and moved to the case with Alice's FN F2000 and opened it taking it out, "we've got magazines for this?"
"Of course," Richie said moving to the middle room which was once an office and began getting preloaded mags for the weapon. Amy pulled the vest on finally and strapped it up properly pulling it tight, it was nostalgia at its finest with the white rabbit logo on it. She grabbed several of the magazines strapping them into the front of the vest and two at the back where she could easily reach behind her with either hand to grab one.
