What if I told you everything you know about me is a lie? My name isn't Alice Abernathy, I am not an assassin, I am not a bioweapon, I am simply a figment of your imagination, a phantom of sorts holding my place in history in order to right the wrongs of a company I was created by. Everything about me is fabricated for one reason or another, I am an assassin, my name is Alice, yet I am not. My story and career spans more than a decade as a child soldier in the country where I was taken from by the red and white logo.
1990
Africa
A girl like me isn't safe in a place like this. I was white skinned, blond haired, but I was part of a liberation front, a mercenary group known as White Rabbit. The overtones of the name never dawned on me when I was a child, we were invaders to their country but we were natives all the same scorn by a warlord who raided the Southern region and killed our families. I was trained by a man named Adéwalé. He was a former warlord to the region who protected the innocent after a reform in prison that caused him to see a different light. Today I realize he was a manipulator and a piece of shit, but he was the closest thing I had to family when I was a child.
Adéwalé recruited anyone, man or woman, adult or child, if you could hold a gun and control the weapon you were able enough to fight his war and get your revenge. For five years I fought with Adéwalé's liberation group until one fateful day we crossed into Umbrella territory and our unit was torn apart, the children were spared we were taken in many of us were test subjects while others, like myself, became trained assassins for their organization.
July 1998

Five years of training, I was twenty three when Umbrella sent me on my first mission. The Raccoon city mansion was compromised and the government was putting the screws to Umbrella's facilities. They sent me to silence the researchers, the CEO's, the guards. I wasn't alone in this, across the globe Umbrella was killing assets it believed were replaceable. My goal was to keep <REDACTED> alive and kill his bio-weapon guards. I wasn't expecting to move an entire child with him.
2001
Raccoon City
My relocation to Raccoon city wasn't a surprise, they want me to watch over the construction of their tower and the Arklay mansion, more so they want me to get access to the hive full time to be a silencer. I guess <REDACTED> is still worried about the leak that outed his inner circle to the public. I hear a benefactor is in the wing buying his assets as I type this.
2002
HIVE
I type this having escaped the hive, I have no recollection of the events before this. I read back to learn my history yet none of it sounds like me. I have two children and three people with me, all of us ex-Umbrella in some kind of way, our bond. The boy looks after the girl, James calls them Adam and Amy but the names I found for the girl were different. She is a blank slate as a human, no memories, no learning, and we're dealing with an overran city... This will be a struggle.
2003
Raccoon City
It's been two months since we were ambushed. They were aiming for our gear but took two of our allies. Amy and Nick have been missing since then and we've been working tirelessly to locate either in the city. Raccoon isn't that big but the warring territories make it impossible to cross into certain areas and the micro hordes cut off much of the city. At the end of the day we may have to cut our losses and assume them dead, but I will not stop hunting for them nor will I ever forget the faces of those who took them.

Shade tells me I've been working myself to death hunting down raiders for the last few months. They don't like it when they become hunted but it's taken me this long to get ahead of them and I've been tearing them apart. Adam hasn't been pleased with the slow progress but I think even he understands we're trying to get revenge for Amy. Perhaps I forgot to mention we found Nick alive, he's staying at a shelter now.
